Theresa Somerset
Theresa Somerset of Precision Studio is a graduate of Castleton State College with a B.A. in Fine Arts. Theresa has an interest in painting in watermedia, acrylics, oils, and building assemblages. Her subjects range in children within landscapes, still-lives with antique and sentimental objects from her past, and unique paper sculpture and mixed media collages.
She has won a number of awards, as well as participated in juried shows, and is a Vermont Watercolor Signature Member. Throughout the years, her interests have varied from fine art to crafting. Most techniques and applications have crossed over to make her work unique and interesting. Her precise attention to detail has been touted as one of her trademarks. She is also known for her intricate Pysanky-Ukrainian eggs that she decorates and incorporates into her still-life paintings.
