Janice Solek-Tefft
Janice Solek-Tefft, BFA/MA., attended Kent State University in Kent, Ohio and received a Bachelors in Fine Art in 1970. She received a Masters of Art in Art Therapy from Goddard College in 1981.

" I have been a pastel painter since 1979. My work reflects my inner journey of spirituality whether I am out in nature devouring the landscape or in my studio allowing a free flowing abstraction to come alive on my canvas. The vivid and intense colors I can obtain through pastels brings an excitement from within that allows my work to transform itself and express my creativity.

I have exhibited in several galleries in Vermont including: The Emile Gruppe Gallery in Jericho (Spring 2008 "Wife/Husband show"), The Art Gallery at the Expo in Essex Junction (Second Place and Honorable Mention), The Red Mill Gallery in Jericho, and The Bryan Gallery juried shows in Jeffersonville."
